Sitka Mountain Optics Harness – New for 2020

For those prepping to go out west this year, Sitka Gear has released their Swiss Army knife of a binocular harness: the Sitka Mountain Optics Harness. Many of you may be wondering why release another bino harness when Sitka already has two nice offerings. Well, they took a different, more adaptable, systems-based approach to this design. So this new Mountain Optics Harness will be just as much at home in the Rocky Mountains as it will be in a tree stand in the midwest.

Modularity in Design

The modular design allows you to greatly expand the harness to carry everything plus some:  binoculars, range finder, wind checker, cell phone, inReach, bear spray, you name it… all can find a place in the harness. A zippered stash pocket in back and numerous elastic pouches keep your wind-checkers and other high-use items within easy to grab reach. Couple that with the one-handed magnetic open/close for the binocular lid plus the stealthy brushed polyester face and this harness will prove to be both functional and quiet.

A Versatile Optics Harness

A nice pair of 10×42 binos seem to be the ideal size for this harness, but it will accept a wide range of glass.  The modular features of this system combined with the molle-compatible versatility make Sitka’s Mountain Optics harness ideal for any hunt.
